| The Early Preschool Program relies heavily on love and joy to promote a sense of well-being and to foster a love of learning in the child. There are several indoor and outdoor play periods available to the children during the school day and a time for nap after lunch.The children learn skills such as sitting at the table, feeding themselves, pouring, matching and classifying objects in the environment, early language (ABC's) and math skills, along with the appropriate skills necessary to succeed in a school environment. |

Activities in math and language are designed to assist the children in acquiring academic skills in an atmosphere that allows them to develop at their own pace in a non-competitive and happy atmosphere of creativity and intellectual stimulation. |

The children in the Older Preschool Program are encouraged in the further development of language and math skills necessary for kindergarten.Outdoor play periods are available to the children, and after lunch, the children are able to move freely between the outdoor play area and the classroom where they can participate in planned activities or use any of the activities on the shelves, as well as blocks, legos and other building materials.
Napping is optional and based upon parental request. Gymnastics, dance and piano classes are available as extracurricular
activities. Children participating in dance and piano classes must be
completely potty-trained. |
